Automated fluorometric determination of amphetamine in urine.
نویسنده
چکیده
A completely automated fluorometric determination of amphetamine in urine is described and evaluated. The dihydrolutidine derivative produced by reaction of amphetamine with formaldehyde and acetylacetone is excited at 410 nm and the resulting intensity of fluorescence measured at 476 nm. The working limit of detection of amphetamine in fresh urine (1.5-mi samples) is 0.15 mg/liter. A result is produced for the first sample in about 20 mm; subsequent results are obtained at 2-mm intervals. Falsely positive reactions are given by 2-phenylethylamine and tuaminoheptane.

Automated headspace solid-phase microextraction and in-matrix derivatization for the determination of amphetamine-related drugs in human urine by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
An automated extraction and determination method for the gas chromatography (GC)-mass spectrometry (MS) analysis of amphetamine-related drugs in human urine is developed using headspace solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and in-matrix derivatization. A urine sample (0.5 mL, potassium carbonate (5 M, 1.0 mL), sodium chloride (0.5 g), and ethylchloroformate (20 microL) are put in a sample vial. A...

Background: A syringe to syringe dispersive liquid phase micro-extraction-floating organic drop was applied and used for the simultaneous extraction and pre-concentration of trace amounts of amphetamine (AMP) and methamphetamine (MAMP) in urine samples. The extracted analytes were determined by high performance liquid chromatography along with diode array detection. Materials & Methods: In thi...
